1. Go through Computer

You can not delete your account with a mobile device or smartphone. Twitter does not support account deletion feature on a mobile platform. So it is recommended that go through the computer. So if you have a mobile device, then first you have to find a laptop and then further proceed the second step.

2. Log in to Twitter Account

Now, after getting a computer system. Open your browser and type http://www.twitter.com in the address bar. Then twitter will be open. Now log in to twitter with the account credential like Username and password. You can find the login option from the top right side.

3. Go to Setting

After successfully log in to twitter. Point toward setting. At the right top corner, you will see you profile picture, click on that picture. After clicking on the profile picture, some drop-down menu will appear. Choose a setting, and click on setting menu.

4. Backup your Tweets (Optional)

If you want to get a copy of your tweets, then you can easily backup your tweets in twitter before deletion of your twitter account. So after clicking on setting you will get a page with the full option of settings, there are many kinds of setting there. Scroll your cursor to the bottom of the page, you see a button that’s name is “Request your Archive” by clicking that button, you will be able to get the backup of your tweets easily.
